The Pioneer Condos were built in 2004 by Jeff Wilbert of J. Wilbert Fine Homes. These condominium units were not built for resale but as the personal residences of 4 families that were friends and wanted to live close to each other. Because they were constructed for personal use, they were built way beyond industry standards.

The first time one of these condos was available for sale to the public was in 2007.

An interesting side note is that the building site was zoned for duplexes but the zoning did not allow 4 condominiums. The owners worked within the code and built 2 duplexes. After the duplexes were completed, they converted them to condominiums.
